Wow...this is the longest i have spent on a drawing i think.

I went to my local shop for something (cant remember what) and they sold this fantabulous paper for like 20 pence a sheet. Its thicker than paper but not quite card, and it had this awesome, almost marbled, effect to it (this one is like a golden brown colour, but my scanner doesnt seem to like it much, much prettier in real life). There were like 5 different colours, so me being me i got stupidly excited about it all and bought a crap load.

Anyways, i was like 'graaaahhh must draw!1!?!!' so i went home and spent the afternoon sketching and drawing and came up with this guy.

I had and 's contest in the back of my mind, and i figured one of the best representations of wind was a griffin, so i just went the hell ahead and drew one. So this is my entry for their comp.

so yeah, fun times. I spent about 9-10 hours on this total now, over three stupidly early morning sessions.
