wolf pack-

ok, this is yet another insight into the randomness of me. i was waiting for my mother to get the hell off the comp, and was doodling away, and i drew the sitting wolf in the middle. then i added a wolf, and another and another and ended up with this lol
they were all done without references as you can tell by some of the angles etc, except the one on the bottom left. i got the idea from looking at my pup while she slept lol.
iv ended up with a sort of backstory for them all, couldnt help it, it appeared while i was colouring:

the black wolf is the alpha, however his mate has been killed (by other wolves) leaving him to raise their four cubs. the grey wolf lying on his right is his sister and littermate who has become a stand in mother for the cubs. the white wolf next to her is his daughter from an earlier litter. the brown wolf is a lone wolf who is an old amigo of the alpha, and has come to help the family in their time of need. the dark grey wolf is the omega, the lowest ranking member of the pack.
in my mind theyre fleeing the pursuit of the wolves that killed the alpha female, and have taken a moment to rest before continuing the flight. and while his family sleeps the alpha has a moment to quietly break down over the loss of his mate.
pretty random i know, but it formulated as the pic came into being lol
